On December 25th, Merry will release their new live DVD. Shiroi hitsuji / Kuroi hitsuji, the band’s end of year countdown performances, was recorded at Shibuya Kokaido on December 31, 2006 / January 1, 2007 and will be available in two versions. Unfortunately, the special edition, said to include Gara’s first uncensored MC, will only be available to fan club members.

Japan’s Inflation/Unemployment Graph(Phillips Curve) Looks like Japan

Yeah, I know you aren’t all AP economics students, but this is interesting. The Phillips curve is a graph that represents unemployment and inflation, oddly Japan’s graph looks like the nation it’s self. I thought it was interesting , so here you go.

BLOOD News

Internationally focused J-goth band BLOOD never slows down, and the rest of the year(and into next year) is no different.

Right now they are on tour in Mexico, they are playing their last date in Mexico City before returning to Japan for one show.

Starting in February will be a small America tour:

Lol-Rock Vol. 2: Mana Does Not Climb Steps

Not so long ago I was throwing out thinly backed reports on the X-Japan reunion, well finally there is a site to back me up in English. The Yoshiki affiliated website is running a great deal of high quality X features that I highly recommend.

La Vie En Rose, not really all that disbanded.

Today at the Takadanobaba AREA La Vie En  Rose will perform once again, actually I think this will be their third concert since they “disbanded”.   Either the disbandment was a KISS sized publicity stunt, or they are second guessing the decision to call it quits. Either way it’s nice that the fans can still occasionally see this great band.

LOL-Rock, because jrockers are better then bunnies.

As I try to bring this blog back to fully active, I will feature a new humor piece on top of “6 degrees of Yoshiki Hayashi”

Paul Raven has died.

Paul Raven of Zilch and Killing Joke died of a heart attack on October 20th, he will be missed, Rock in Peace.
