Attack All Around has been announced as the performer for July the 20th at Otakon. More details as they break.
“”" From Otakon:
With a brand-new, ever-changing sound, AAA is ready to explode in the hearts and minds of American fans nationwide. AAA (read as “Triple A”, which stands for “Attack All Around”) began in 2005 with six performers in search of a fresh sound. In the last few years, they’ve gained and lost members, but their explorations have earned a dedicated following. Each of the band members are amazingly talented and hail from several other professions; their incredible energy and sense of fun unites them. In 2005, AAA debuted with the theme song to the live-action theatrical adaptation of Initial D. The single, BLOOD on FIRE, proved to be quite successful. Towards the end of 2005, after the release four singles and their first album Attack, they were honored with the Best New Artist of the Year Award at the 47th Japan Record Awards. In March of 2006, AAA released Remix Attack, their first remix album. Throughout 2006, the band remained busy, releasing a single every month for most of the year. January 2007 saw the release of AAA’s second album All. The following month, they released another album,Challenge Cover Collection, which saw the band cover other popular Japanese pop songs. AAA also did a live performance at the large scale Budokan venue in Tokyo. The group also contributed the opening song to newest entry in the long-running Kamen Rider franchise, Kamen Rider Den-O. For the release of the song, Climax Jump, the band changed their name temporarily to “AAA DEN-O form”. You can catch AAA’s high-energy music in their newest singles Izayuke Wakataka Gundan 2007 and Get CHUU!. |

Here’s hoping that they announce someone better then this.
Will they be performing two concerts or just one? And what other activities are they doing? Are they going to take pictures with fans or sign autographs?
They’ll be performing on Friday night only, and they will be doing a panel and some autograph sessions on Saturday, unless something changes between now and then. At this time they will *not* be doing photo ops — it simply takes too long and there is a *ton* of other stuff happening.
