In 1995 X-Japan sponsored a Le Mans F-1 team and continued to sponsor it for several years

They even won some races

Haha there is no such thing as “Le Mans F1″ unless they refer to Formula Nippon – which is not F1 – by that name in Japan. It looks like they sponsored a Le Mans team and an Formula Nippon team separately. Either way, it’s pretty funny.

thank you for the pictures! apart from the 2nd one which has yoshiki in the car, i’ve not seen any others before. that cleared up a lot of confusion behind that photo. i used to think ‘what the heck was yoshiki doing in an F1 car??” ^^ thanks!
